When I left for the week, this was what the kitchen looked like from the living room.
This is what I returned to! What a great surprise! New drywall on the half wall and back wall (west wall), old linoleum scrapped off the hardwood, all new plumbing for for the new sink and dishwasher, moved the sink and dishwasher, framed in the space for the new refridgerator, and hung the new cabinets!

The hardwood had been painted blue at some point.
