We had a great mini-vacation with Chad and Michelle. We drove and slept in Montrose Friday night, spent Saturday at a car show (Balloons and Varooms annual show in Ridgway) and geocaching in Ridgway, Colorado, camped there that night, then got up early on Sunday for a hot air balloon launch with the San Juan mountain range in the background. We took the long way home on Sunday and cruised through Ouray, Silverton, Durango, saw the Great Sand Dunes, and back through Colorado Springs to drop off the Achterhoffs. Simply a perfect weekend.
