Another wonderful Valentines day with my love. Valentines day is our anniversary of dating, and this year is our 6 year anniversary of when we started dating. Christopher had a wonderful evening planned, with dinner and then chocolate and wine pairing downtown. The night ended in the Peaks Lounge on the 27th floor of the Hyatt, overlooking Denver and the mountains in the distance. Even more magical than Disney :)

A Magical Night at Disney

I was in Florida for a conference and the hotel was on Disney property. I was chatting with some other women on the shuttle to our hotel, from the airport, and they asked if I was going to Disney while I was in Florida. I hadn't planned on it, so I told them no, but after telling them that I have never been to Disney, they insisted that I fit it into my schedule! I gave in and am so glad I did! Asked them how much it cost to go to Disney, and they said it depended on which park I wanted to go to. Little did I know that there were 45 parks to choose from!

I didn't know which park I should visit, so I asked a guy at the hotel, and he said, "Do you want to see Cinderella's castle?" Of course I want to see the castle!!! I went to the Magic Kingdom one night after the conference activities, and really had a great time walking around. I didn't know what to expect, but it was just like the commercials. I'm so glad I went!

Super Bowl Weekend

Super Bowl Sunday started with a drive down to Colorado Springs to see Michelle run in the Super Half Marathon! This was her first half marathon and she felt she did really well. What an accomplishment, so proud of her!

Then later, we had a Super Bowl party and had lots of fun with a full house! This is the only photo I took to represent the crowd, and I feel like the pile of shoes says it all!

This is Ashley and Hunter with their sweet little one, Lily. She's precious, and such a trooper. She made it through the entire game without any complaints! 

What a cutie... I think we'll keep her around!

Snow Day!

Well, we finally received some snow in Denver... 24" of snow! We had our first official snow day of this winter and worked from home. We had 14" against our front door when we woke up Friday morning, and by Saturday had at least another 8 - 10". I've never seen so much snow in my entire life. The sun came out and it was just beautiful and glowing. Enjoy!
